TERMS and AGREEMENT

This Agreement, entered between Joy Event Rentals LLC, hereinafter referred to as “Lessor,” and the undersigned, hereinafter referred to as “Lessee,” outlines the terms and conditions for the rental of supplies and equipment. Please carefully read the entire agreement.

  1. Reservation and Payment Terms
  1. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the event date. However, if the cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance, 50% of the deposit may be applied as a credit toward a future rental within the next 12 months, subject to availability. It is used to reserve the rental items for your event. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the earliest of the receipt of goods or performance of services. A late payment fee of 5% will be applied if the balance remains unpaid beyond the due date.
  2. Damage Waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver fee of 8% of the total rental will be charged. This covers minor wear and tear (e.g., small scratches, scuffs) that occur during normal use. For major damage, theft, or loss, the Lessee will be charged up to the amount of the security deposit. If the cost exceeds the security deposit, the Lessee will be billed for the remaining balance.
  3. Security Deposit: A refundable 20% security deposit is required, refunded if items are returned in the same condition. It covers more severe damage, loss, or breaches of contract terms. It’s held until the equipment is returned and inspected.
  4. Late Payments: Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
  5. Payment Methods: We accept credit cards and online payments. A 4% processing fee applies for credit card payments.
